Help to Buy
Help to Buy is a great way for first time buyers or home movers to get a foot on the property ladder.
Rising house prices make it difficult to save for a deposit. Help to Buy mortgages allow you to put down as little as 5% and the government will put up a further loan of up to 20% (or 40% for homes in London).
This bumps your deposit up to 25% or 45% in London, giving you access to more attractive interest rates from lenders participating in the scheme.
Help to Buy is available on new build properties only, up to the value of £600k. The government do not charge any interest on their loan for the first 5-years however in year 6 they will charge an interest rate of 1.75%, plus an additional 1% on top on the inflation rate for every year after that.
All of our advisors have excellent product knowledge and are here to assist you with the Help to Buy Scheme.
We work with every lender participating in the scheme and can help you choose the right options to meet your needs.
